Service Description

In this fun series we will explore how different artists use color to create dynamic compositions. We will be working in the mediums of watercolor, oil pastel, collage and mixed media. Viewing the inspirational art of Arthur Dove, African American Crazy Quilts, Jasper Johns, and contemporary Australian Aboriginal Painters, we will create a new art piece each day. Supply List: • Watercolor paper (4 sheets sizes @ 12”x12”) • watercolor or gouache • filbert brushes (small and medium) • oil pastels (assorted small box) • colored pencils (I like Prismacolor) • newspaper/magazines/colored paper (save from junk mail) • glue stick or glue • tape (painter’s tape is great/scotch tape works) • black acrylic (small bottle) • 1 paper clip
